RVA Retail Seminars in Shenzhen China

shenzhen-rvmhShenzhen, China – The team at Richard Vorisek Associates (RVA) is pleased to report that we have just concluded our first round of retail seminars in Shenzhen, China. With over 10 companies participating, we have had the opportunity to share our 25+ years of experience with some of China’s most enterprising brands, teaching them a thing or two about expanding in the global marketplace, and letting them teach us about the ever developing retail landscape in China.

RVA was recently approached by Chinese consulting company, Blue Space, to come up with a program to expose their key China-based retail clients to global retail trends and to offer key and actionable solutions for a broad range of retail challenges and opportunities. For several years, Blue Space founder, Tony Zhong, had been looking for a U.S.-based consulting firm with expertise in these areas and a firm with similar core brand values.

RVA jumped at the challenge and agreed to develop an all-encompassing plan starting with the development of a 4-day program entitled ‘360 degrees of Retail Excellence’. Over the 4 days, Founder/CEO Richard Vorisek, and President of RVA, Mary Hamilton, will explore key areas of retail: merchandising, planning and allocation, trend forecasting, product development, e-commerce, and marketing and brand development. The hope for the seminars is to make them as interactive as possible. We’re incorporating one-on-one workshops, breakout sessions, instructional presentations, homework assignments and competitive shopping excursions in order to stimulate hands-on participation and to ensure that all participants get as much out of the program as possible.
